Peg Rawes

Dr. Peg Rawes is an architectural theorist and historian, and is Programme Director of the Masters in Architectural History at The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL. Her research and teaching explore aesthetic, material, technological, and ecological histories and theories in architecture. Her publications include Space, Geometry and Aesthetics (Palgrave Macmillan, 2008), Relational Architectural Ecologies, ed. (Routledge, 2013), Poetic Biopolitics: Practices of Relation in Architecture and the Arts, co-ed. (I.B.Tauris, 2016), and “Spinoza's Geometric and Ecological Ratios,” in The Politics of Parametricism, ed. Manuel Shvartzberg and Matthew Poole (Bloomsbury Academic, 2015). Equal By Design, a short documentary film she created with Beth Lord in association with Lone Star Productions, premiered in June 2016.
